blu ray to dvd
7 Answers
I have an LG BD 650 Blu Ray player & on the back there is a 3 phono jack configuration, using a 3 phono to usb cable I have tried connecting Blu Ray to PC in order to save a Blu Ray movie to my PC. Can anyone explain to me what I need to do to get this to work ? My original intention was to get movie to PC & then to burn to DVD but I haven't figured out how to do this. ( I am now quite ancient but the grey cells are still active).

The phonos on the back are L/R audio and composite video.
The only way you could get the output to your PC via USB would be to buy a USB capture device, then use some software (such as Windows Moviemaker) to record the output while playing the Blu-ray. This would give you a fairly crap quality movie and cost (excluding your time) about half as much as buying another Blu-ray player.
Much as I admire your tenacity, you are still on a loser.

If you use a Blu-ray copy program, you don't need to waste time to rip blu-ray and burn dvd, you can directly copy the blu-ray movie to dvd.
