they've grown 5 inches since! I'm afraid the coming cold snap will kill them off. I'm sitting in the conservatory, no heatin on and it's so warm in the sun.

Oh come on. Virtually every year we see daffs sticking up through snow.

They've had lots of practice at survival.
I feel sorry for the poor wee things. My snowdrops are sagging, the crocuses should go back to sleep.
They'll be all right, maybe a bit frizzled round the edges.... we've had neither snowdrop nor camellia flowers this year, but the Pasque flowers are coming out, and so are the croci.
My garden is confused. I've got a few daffs out and 3 tulips!!!!
Last time I looked my grass didn't need cutting, I think now it will have to be done this week :o(
I've left my snow shovel out this time, last time I tucked it away in the shed, we had a second fall of snow, I don't want to temp providence.

A sharp frost in the morning followed by a bright sunny day suits me just fine!
