What would you serve with bubble & squeak? (Going to have to make it from scratch as there is never enough leftovers to make another meal with.). Thanks for any ideas.
I do, Conne, it's easy. Just fry chopped onion (red is nice) till soft, stir in a tblsn of flour till blended, then add some beef stock till you get the right consistency. Some people prefer the onions left in rings - it's personal choice.
