Barmaid has made the same point I raised with JJ a while back when this came up. Where do you draw the line ?
Speeding ?
driving with out insurance ?
Driving a SORN car?
Driving while disqualified ?
Leaving the scene of an accident ? ( I know someone who did this and got 18 months)
Causing death by dangerous driving ?
burglary?
Credit fraud?
GBH ?
Handling stolen goods ?
There has to be a point where you say NO !
We all know you 'took points' and seem to regard it as a joke. Would you have done the same if it had been 100 in a 30 limit? 70 in a 40 limit?
The person who you took points for presumably needed to avoid a ban so should not be on the road. How would you feel if that person hit and killed someone because he/she was speeding again when they should have been banned?
