Each clue is really two clues, side by side but not overlapping, the answers to which are to be entered in the two similarly numbered spaces in the diagram, either side of the central vertical bold line. Either word may be clued first, and the division is not necessarily marked by punctuation
3d Major blow in love:not once losing heart takes up John (at Harrow?) (5,5)
I have "one-er" for the "major blow" part
letters for the other part are REAR?
13d For this clue we are only given the defn which is "rich man"
I have ?IVES
Possibly some incorrect letters because I can't seem to fit anything to the clues
Any help please
