Can anyone give me some old fashioned beauty tips please? Such as rinsing your hair in vinegar to make it shine.

I would thought that having hair that doesn't whiff of vinegar outweighs that of having shiny hair.

If I was standing next to two birds in a pub and one ponged of vinegar and one didn't have shiny hair, I know which I'd go for.
