Vermin

Hi, I have either a rat or squirrel in my loft as I can hear it scurrying aroung at night time some nights.

I have bought some rat traps, rat poison and now, a cage trap to catch it live. All attempts have failed over the past two weeks to catch it. The poison comes in sachets and a small tray to put it in. They have eaten it but are still here!

The poison I bought was from B&Q and I'm beginning to believe it's not much good.

Does anyone here knoiw the best way to deal with rats. Also is there an alternative poison I could use to quickly eliminate them. I thought about bread laced with antifreeze, which I believe is a pretty good poison.

Any ideas welcome.

The poison works slowly, the rats eat it and then go away and eventually die as their blood thins. The poison I think is warferin'

there are now rats and mice who are resistant to warfarin. I'd be getting an expert in.

Block the holes and they won't be able to get in.
Poison requres the pest to consume it, they may not be tempted.

i keep poison down permanentely, rats cause so much damage if ignored. I use NEOSOREXA GOLD ,it seems to work fairly quickly i buy it from a local feed merchants.

Old Geezer, I have no idea where they are getting in, otherwise I would block it.

Chas, I have bought 1Kg tub of Neosorexa and will be using it on a daily basis.

The live cage trap I bought has not been as effective as I expected. I have places bait in the cage and right outside the entrance. All the bait gets eaten but not the bait in the cage.

This rat is taking the pi$$ now. Is it really so smart that it can identify a trap?

I think I will be borrowing ny Dad's air rifle so I can pop a cap in its arse.
