Keyplus, most of thesee girls were in care homes some probably had not reached puberty and all carrying baggage from their childhood - easy targets for these scum of the earth, we cannot carry out sharia law here (god forbid we ever do) and they cannot be sent to an Islamic country for punishment (human rights again) but most probably if they did they would get off with their crime because they would blame the females.

Keyplus. Some things you say are correct but you are way, way off in a number of instances.

Firstly, in this country when people are convicted of crimes we do not punish them according to their religion – we govern by laws.

The punishment in the UK is not as extreme as that which you ‘know’. And we do treat the gangs as bad people – we lock them up for maybe 20 years.

You exaggerate. These 11 and 12 year old girls are not simply on the street as you put it. They do not wander the towns unaccompanied looking making themselves vulnerable.

And yes, you .are correct when you say there are people from other backgrounds, religion, colour and countries who are committing same kind of crimes. But don’t you think it strange the newspapers and television are repeatedly reporting Muslims as being the wrong-doers - sometimes in gangs of 9 violating young females purely for their own gratification? Wonder why that is!

They aren't there for anyone to abuse them.
You show a sad misunderstanding of what it is to live in a free democratic country.
It is recognised in this country that children are to be protected and adults take responsibility for their own actions.
To try to shift the blame to anyone but the adults who committed these crimes is not acceptable regardless of religion or culture.
If you live in this country you abide by the laws of this country. It's the same the whole world over and exceptions aren't made for anyone.

K.P.; Because the parents have failed the child, it doesn't follow that they can be treated as targets for the wicked, quite the reverse, they are in the most need of society's protection.

One of the girls (the link might be in this thread) ended up in care AFTER she was targeted by one of these gangs. She was a promising student with a perfectly stable homelife until they raped and abused her for months/years.

Children/adolescents are easily manipulated and these gangs first used flattery and then quickly used fear and manipulation to get what they want.

it is, in pretty much the same way the defence lawyer for the men who raped the young Indian student, blamed the girl for being out - it's a despicable attitude. She died from her injuries, when you read what they did to her, it's no wonder they are still alive. Many people want the men hanged, not sure that will happen, but they deserve prison for life.
