Anyone else watching Sky News at the moment, a bad pile up (100+ cars) on the Sheppey Bridge

I have driven that road hundreds of times and the old before it and by train to school on the very old bridge before that so I know the road and the area very well indeed. I still have family living on the island.
They say the sound of vehicles crashing into each other went on for 10 minutes - It must have been absolutely horrific
There is a long sweep up to the bridge and a long curved sweep down from it. If you drive with care as you should always do there isn't a problem but in this case I feel that people did not take enough care and take the conditions into account - as happens a lot nowadays it was a case of every man (and woman) for themselves. One woman - not a boy racer- admitted that she was driving too fast and I don't think that she was the only one.
