All the ads are blaring out again, I've had neurofen , galvaston and that boots foot thingy to name but three.

And the Neurofen one is still there- it has just come on again to the right of the 'best answer' area when I was in Q&P. I stopped it but it started again within 10 seconds. It blared out without me hovering over it.

cupid - I am not computer literate - but I just put a block on my ads and it is great and top right corner I have adbloc covered by new. has worked wonders for me.

That is a solution, I know, Conne; but I prefer not to use it as I know that the site relies on adverts to fund it- I am happy for ads to appear but I would prefer them to be silent unless I actually choose to click on them

The Boots Neurofen one is still in the same place- it's still next to the 'best answer' area just below the answer box when i go in Q&P. I definitely went nowhere near the ad. I stopped it but it started again. I've now muted, so I can't listen to my music now I guess the problem is difficult to solve or AB needs the money.

I've not muted my speakers, but I can't remember any occasion when I've encountered sound on this site.

Just to update you and say "thanks ed"- The problem seems to have stopped for me- I've had no noisy ads for a week now. I wonder what cupid's experience has been recently.
