I wonder how long it will be before Coronation Street is taken from our screens, due to the lack of actors?

ANOTHEOLDGIT, with regards to Not Guilty meaning Proven Innocent they are different things. In this country, other than in defamation cases, folk are presumed to be innocent unless proven guilty. Folk do not need to prove innocence, the prosecution needs to prove guilt. An accused person need say nothing in court and need have no witnesses in defence, the burden is upon those prosecution. As in experiments, absence of proof is not proof of absence. If Not Guilty means Proven Innocent, why is there a 'Not Proven' verdict in Scots Law?
To return to the OP - this does seem like a non-story.

If two girls of that age are missing overnight, their parents are going to be asking questions.

If two paedophiles are sharing bed with two victims, it seems unlikely in the extreme that they would give access to the room to anyone else, and if that someone did come into the room, the two girls would not perhaps have mentioned that they were there against their will? Even if not, their demeanour, and the circumstances would lead any normal person to start asking questions and raising alarms.

It all seems vey convenient in terms of timing - just after the Le Vel case - and as such, I smell a very large money-oriented rat.
