Further to my previous questions, I am now being asked to update iPad again, I only did it last week and had loads of problems. How do I get rid of this update request? Thanks all

You can't!
The reason you're getting this message is that a new release of the software is available (7.0.2) which addresses a flaw with the logon process.
You can ignore the update, but to be honest, I went with it last night. Only took about five minutes to install (not like the hours and hours it took for IOS7 to install).
