I'm off to Scotland later in the Autumn - mainly for some leaf peeping and distillery visiting.

But I'll also be near these amazing Gents ...

... and I'd like to take some photos.

However, I have a feeling that just wandering in and whipping out my ...

... camera, may not be entirely socially acceptable.

I wonder what the etiquette is :+)

No Dave, we visited last month for our anniversary - and before that, we'd been for the day whilst staying in Dunoon. We live in Cumbria, so it was just a 2 hour drive for us.
Oh dear, can't tell my Daves from my Kates - sorry :$
Focal length is very important with this subject. You could start a cottage industry.

Is that a camera in your pocket, or are you just pleased to see us McMouse?

So, size does matter after all!
Redman: That's never a toilet block in a pub?!. I think I'd probably prefer drinking my real ale whilst on the john.
Dave: It could be a compact lens in McMouse's troo'sers. 70 - 200 Zoom. *runs away*
Bute is a beautiful island. Went camping there many years ago to a musical festival - fabulous weekend. On the Sunday night there was a big ceilidh with all the musicians who had played in the pubs etc coming together. Billy Connolly turned up - he had been at a wedding in Mount Stewart.
If someone does walk in when you are taking photos in the toilets you can humour them by saying, "I heard George Michael was visiting today".
I've been to Rothesay a few times. Once on the Waverley Paddle Steamer.
Stuck in a time-warp.
