Do you complain if you get bad service? Last night went out for a Carvery
meal. Started off with a prawn cocktail. Instead of being served in the usual
tall glass, the prawns were on a plate, with salad, one slice of dry bread and
a miniature pot of what I thought was mayonnaise. I proceded to pour it all
over my prawns and salad. But, yuk it was runny butter. I ate most of it
even though it tasted horrid. Is this partly my fault? What would you have done?

If I was to go back there, I wouldn't bother with the prawn cocktail.
The roast was fine. No room for dessert, I ate too many spuds!
I hate the wishy washy gravy but if its an invite I can stomach anything ;)
Right then cupid, I'll look out for your posts on Weight Loss And Dieting threads ;-)
It is impossible to get a good carvery. One of my biggest complaints is it is never hot. Most carveries only have basic vegetables like carrots and cauliflower. It is most odd that the most popular vegetable are peas but they very seldom are on a carvery menu. Lamb or Chicken never appear on a carvery. How can they possible keep roast potatoes taste like roast potatoes when they are put in a baine marie which keeps it hot by hot water.
