Isn't It Time That We Brought In Immigration Laws Similar To Mexico's?

Immigration it seems is among the top concerns of the citizens of this country, Labour initially opened the flood gates and let vast numbers in, and our present coalition government, keep saying they are taking action to ease the problem, yet we see little done, plus they seem impervious to the fact that come 1st January 2014 many more could be arriving from Eastern Europe.

Many people come here with visas allowing them to stay in the country for a certain period of time (a few months, a year or whatever).
This may be to receive education here, or maybe they are sports people to come and compete here, or they are in entertainment industry and they come from say India or Pakistan (and other places) to perform here.
But what if they don't go home when their visa expires and just disappear into an area that is full of people from the same ethnic background.
I live near Birmingham and there are parts of the city that are virtually 100% Asian. All the school kids are Asian, and all the shops and restaurants and businesses are owned by Asians etc. A white person stands out like a sore thumb.
Suppose a person who overstays their visa goes and lives in this area?
How do you find them?, how do you root them out?.
You cant just knock on the door of every house.
It is a big problem and not easy to solve.

/// And which of their laws do you want that we do not already have? ///
Well these would make a good start.
Britain welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to British society:
British authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:
A National Population Registry to keep track of “every single individual who comprises the population of the country,” and verifies each individual’s identity.
Have the means to sustain themselves economically;
Not destined to be burdens on society;
Of economic and social benefit to society;
Of good character and have no criminal records;
Contribute to the general well-being of the nation.

I think th eauthorities do have a record of who enters legally, they carry print testers so they can tell who they are if found working etc.
The biggest problem we have is that we can't get rid of them, usually due to the HRA and the ECHR. We need to stop subscribing to these and take our country back.
Same goes for the EU, leave it. Contrary to the bleating s of the likes of Jake and his cohorts Britain will not collapse, if anything it will prosper.
A good immigration policy fully enforced is what this country needs together wil taking no notice of 'cultural' excuses not to obey the law or get preferential treatment by using the term racist if they don't get their own way.
