Apparently Brendan O Carroll based his character on his Mother Maureen, whom he said was a feisty person born in 1913, can you imagine her using the f word and in one scene her "daughter" Cathy complains than men on first dates expect her to perform fellatio, Mrs Brown replies Sing opera, he'd have a better chance of getting a blow job! What would his mother say!!!

if you think that teddieo most men in the country should also have a washout, I hear that word every day, and no one takes any notice, (a lot of women say it as well I know)
