Lucky that you were wearing a crash helmet, Caran, a lot of bikers didn't in those days. Did the Vellocette Venum have a fish tail exhaust pipe ?.

I have no idea tonyav, never really looked at it. But it was his pride and joy.

Never been interested. OH has an MG, love of his life, I won't go in it. Too low, uncomfortable for arthritis, and HE DRIVES TOO BL**DY FAST. We have had endless discussions about it. We are both quite happy, he goes on holiday every year either with MG rallies or with his mate in it. I have my time. Works perfect!

OMG, I just woke up laughing. Literally tittering in my half dreamlike state.
