It's the same here. Mr BM can cook about 3 things. Otherwise he looks in the fridge, looks in the freezer and says "we haven't got anything to eat". A rough translation of that is "It hasn't fallen into my outstretched hands ready to eat, therefore we have nothing to eat".
I *normally* follow a recipe to a tee the first time I use it - unless I dont have everything so I improvise a bit.
I frequently fall off my perch when I read this weeks special offer of pizzas, dough balls, coke and ice cream for a family dinner at just........£24.99!!!!
I agree, it's terrible! I make my own from scratch (plus it means I can hide stuff in the dough and the sauce so Master BM gets a more balanced diet). I think I can make a couple of pizzas for a couple of quid.
