Have just had new wet room with walk in shower. How best to keep limescale free also the chrome shower?

best way? install a water softener. Next best, use something like Mr Muscle shower shine religiously

Just decide that life's too short to worry about limescale - it doesn't poison you!

Squeegee the walls dry after every use and the wash them regularly. Do not use any abrasive cleaners on metalwork but wipe dry with a cloth or towel after use and also wash regularly with detergent.

White vinegar is very good for lime scale and just about anything else.

Limescale is Not going to build-up in a matter of minutes.

If you do as Karl has suggested, you'll work-up a nice sweat and be ready for another shower.

Hi Lili ... some all purpose cleaning liquid, even washing up liquid & some of these .. http://www.spontex.co.uk/content-files/product/images/1/1/113c9332af6948e3834e9fa2460e4ec6.jpg Shower off after scrubbing with clean water. Yes it really does work!! Watch you don't slip! You can use all purpose liquid cleaner on your chrome shower too.

By the way, you needn't just buy that brand of scourer, similar are available in pound shops ect ..

We live in a hard water area, and we do exactly as KARL recommends in our shower cubicle. It's a method that works well for us.
