Dame Vera Lynn is 97 years old today.The new album is going to be released on June2nd to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings (6th June).I loved most of her songs so am looking forward to the new album.

Vera's still in vogue though, especially in this commemorative year of wartime. We still have people singing her songs at Armed Forces Day here each year.
