But there was a comment by Dave Lamb about Lady Portia (transvestite/drag queen) when he said that Lady Portia, known to his mum as Marcus

I thought that was a tad tasteless, I'm sure he's a wonderful son to his mum, irrespective of what he does for a job or who he is.

Can't think of how to quite phrase this question without sounding presumptive or worse, I'd like to think that I'd love my child as they are and not make any judgments on their lifestyle, would you be the same?

I know it's impossible until you are are in that situation.

We make our children what they are and, hopefully, who they are, so yes no question at all.

I can't imagine my child's lifestyle would ever offend or upset me at all as long as they were not hurting anyone else. I think if I ever have children I'd just want them to be happy in the way they live and nice, decent human beings.

My kids are kind, Alba....happy, and I like them.....as long as they never hurt anyone that's enough.....I don't judge them......

And if they read this.....yes I do know you will perhaps be choosing my care home... ;-)

Mine are fine and as normal as I'd expect...well if you ever met the boy wonder it might make you wonder about normal!! There are images of him dressed up as a woman, scary images....but at leats the beard gave it away a wee bit ;0)

If it came to that kind of situation, they're still my kids and if thats the lifestyle they chose then I hope I'd be mature enough to deal with it.

I could never respect my child or any person if they were not honest with themselves and just be who they were meant to be.

Although I don't have kids, I would like to think I wouldn't bat an eyelid if a son walked in wearing full drag- I would probably worry more about them though as some folks out there are not as understanding of the variety of life.

I think Marcus was a lovely fellow. Being a drag queen is no disgrace. Look at Danny La Rue. He made a fortune being one. And to be honest,' Lady Portia' looked much better than many women I see round. He was quite charming too.
