We have recently moved to our new house in Carlisle. Last week we went to a nursery and bought an ormamental cherry tree. We planted it when we got home and added some Miracle Gro to the hole.
However, yesterday we noticed that the leaves are turning brown and crinkly, and on the very top appears to be shrivelled
Any ideas pleas

Are you watering it regularly? transplanted trees/plants need extra water to help them bed into the soil.
Has it been cold and/or windy? Have you watered it every day?
It could just be a reaction to being transplanted. Plenty of water and see how it goes over the next 2\3 weeks.

Many thanks
Yes, my first thoughts where lack of water.
Or maybe its a reaction from being located in an exposed site from a sheltered site ?
