Brenden not sure you pass this way at all these days, but if i were you i wouldn't bother. If no one understands why UKIP did badly in London its because its chock full of left wing Labourites, and home to the most diverse set of people's anywhere on the planet, over 300 languages spoken, surely that gives anyone a clue.
Take a look at Tower Hamlets and its leader to go some way to explain matters. He has been in power for some time yet the stink of corruption has been hanging over him for ages, using public money to garner votes, and also using a tv channel S i think its called for the same reason, to appeal to Asian Muslim voters, he is the ones who wanted Tower Hamlets to get city status, i ask you, a borough in the capital, thank goodness it didn't happen.
