Wednesday. A bit damp out so not many of the usual suspects out and about. A couple of badgers on their way home ran across the track right in front of me, totally oblivious to my presence, or just didn't give a toss. whatever! A large number of deer in the field on the hillside. :o}
Tiggy was in with his girlfriend last night, I think she's playing hard to get as he's still trying to impress her. It's rather sweet really. Foxy was in too as usual.
We are told it's going to be a soggy day here in Gloucestershire. That'll make a change won't it.
Hi guys - back again. Well, it went well, from my perspective - R-sole put his hands up and said that the site management team were at fault for the late instructions and that I had tried my utmost to accommodate their requests. Didn't need all my e-mails, my temper or fisticuffs - but that's good, at least it was an easy ride for me and no bollockings to boot. Sorry for the let down, I know you wanted to full blooded 'to the death' fight.....
No unfortunately we didn't minty.....they had booked the Trattoria Rustica for a family dinner - that was good though, good wholesome family Italian, the daughter fronting the service and then it was back to the Maid to catch up with the ushers and usherettes (my term for the bridesmaids) as well as the rest. With my godson who came over for breakfast, we ambled down the road and found a nice caff just on the other side of the bridge.
However, I may be back up there as the hotel is interested in my work for their stationary, a job today being an opening e-mail with guidance numbers etc....also gained a commission (started the pencil work on that already) and one other prospective candidate in a lovely pub in Wilton, near Salisbury.
