Oh goodness, I have missed this again this week. I cannot seem to remember what day it is half the time, plus I've been burning the candle a bit! I might weigh in the morning if I think to, if not I'll be with you again next week. My favourite healthy recipe is to replace the mince in your shepherds pie, for a tin of green lentils and chopped celery (mmmmm). Fry off some...

How about ideas on lo cal breakfasts ?
That said I suspect any that aren't cereal are likely either to not be lo cal, or be too fussy to do when rushing to work in the morning. But it would be nice to have options. Presently mine are whatever cereal I have on the shelf, or whatever packet of oats I have on the shelf, and a couple of times a week indulge in 2 slices of toast & marge. All rather uninspiring.
It's not just June that's shooting by, it was shocking to hear we reached the solstice and days are now shortening once more. That's it folks, the summer week's almost done. Expect rain & hail this coming weekend. Only 182 days to Xmas. 189 to the new year.

Here are some quick suggestions for lo cal and lo fat breakfast things.
Go to your diabetes items and you will find lo cal jams and lo cal cereal (a bit pricey..be warned, but you are the only one eating it so it lasts longer) and you can also buy turkey bacon which I swear by..just don't fry or grill it too long..about a total of 2-3 min otherwise it gets rubbery instead of crispy. Buy Danish back bacon and cut off the fat. Use the smaller sized brown toast bread. Drink veg. Juice or else look for a lo sugar fruit juice. Fruit juices are usually VERY high in sugar.

Here is a good lo fat mince.
You will need:
100 grams og lo fat mince
Onion
Red bell pepper
Olive Oil
Steak seasoning
Findelt chop the onion and pepper and mix it all together with your mince with salt and pepper.
Form into burger shapes and sprinkle liberally with your steak seasoning,
"Paint" your oil onto a griddle pan or frying pan and fry for about four minutes.
Serve with a salad and a nice cob of corn if desired.
