Mate of mine and his missus saw it, they were the first to be interviewed by the Beeb on the breakfast tv this morning. They managed to get time off from managing their 9 sproglets and into London Ponky Town from JJ's woods.

I'm not going to argue the toss about Kate Bush's value to music, because music appreciation (as is the appreciation of all art) entirely subjective.

However, I challenge you to listen to This Woman's Work without being moved (it was used a couple of years ago on the NSPCC advert). It's an outstanding piece of music.

Also, I have to say (and I only found out this the other night, whilst watching a documentary about her), she wrote, 'The Man With The Child In His Eyes', when she was 15 years old.

Amazing.

It`s so tempting to go there on Friday night and get tout tickets but I`m not prepared to pay £1000 for a ticket. I wish I had got some when they went on sale but the ebay touts cleaned up within the first 15 minutes. Tempting though.

Hold your horses...I've heard rumours that it might go on tour.

And if it does't I would be *extremely* surprised if it wasn't released as a DVD/blu-ray.

Even though I've seen the show, I would buy the blu-ray in a heartbeat. There were bits of it I didn't understand at the time - only worked it out by discussing it with my mate in the tube on the way home ("Oh...I geddit...so that bit after the ship sink...she was supposed to be a ghost, right? Okay - that makes sense now..." etc)

sp - trouble is, the chances of me being around when she does the tour are minimal. I have just had an email from a friend of mine who was a huge Kate Bush fan when we were growing up She is thinking of going down the tout route. We shall see.

She was, is and always will be an amazingly talented and creative artist, no matter what people with hardly a creative bone in their bodies make of her.

She wrote "The Man With The Child In His Eyes" when she was 13, not 15!

Kate Bush has become the first woman to have eight albums in the Official Albums Chart at the same time.
