Have you noticed that since Tesco have had their 'fuel save' scheme their base price for petrol has not been so competitive?

I don't think that Tesco has ever been THAT competitive on fuel prices.
Asda is the only retailer that has one low price nationwide...all the others are only competitive as far as other local fuel outlets, and so charge as much as they can while staying competitive with their neighbours.
