is it selfish to leave a marridge if you have lost all respect and love for your partner and are truly truly unhappy, but you also have children to consider?

hes happy in his ignorance, and does use emotional blackmail. i fell out of love with him about 5 years ago he says he still loves me, its just so hard i dont want to hurt anybody thats not me, or maybe im just being a wimp and scared of his reaction i dont no like i said before i have some serious thinking to do. thank you all once again for being there xxx
