I have just twigged, Stuey. Until WWII it was always known as the Great War, not WWI.

getting back to the real date of christmas day. its totally ridiculous to beleive Jesus was born on the 25th december, why you might ask? because it gets rather cold at that time of year, and theres no way a pregnant woman and a carpenter could trapse around jerusalem looking for a stable for their newly born child. Next you´ll be saying man really did walk on the moon.

I don't think they were looking for a stable, that's all they could get with every thing being booked up for the Christmas holidays an all

they had to go there because of the census. (I think there's serious doubt that the census ever happened, though.)
