i see idris elba may be in the running for nest james bond(swoon) according to talk show host rush limbaugh it should not be allowed because he is black ! and because hes not scottish! what do you think ? personally im sure it could be written in the storyline somehow to accomodate the fact that idris is black and not scottish i mean i just watched skyfall and m has died so whoever replaces her could be black ? idris has also said he doesnt want to be known as the black james bond which i totally understand why cant he just be the new james bond why point out his colour , after all daniel craig isnt known as the blue eyed james bond, Sean Connery wasn't known as the Scottish James Bond etc they were just james bond ! ok ok i know im sticking up for idris anyone who knows me on here knows why lol

Wikipedia describes him as an 'English' actor, so doesn't a person's paternal parentage count any longer as far as his nationality is concerned? If the wife of an American oilman working in Saudi Arabia gives birth to a child there, is that offspring a Saudi? He/she may, of course, be granted dual nationality by Saudi, but surely remains basically American.
