Points On Driving Licence

Ive just picked up 3 points on my driving licence for driving at 38 mph on a 30 mph main road, could someone please tell me how long the 3 points will stay on my driving licence for. Its my first offence in over 20 years of driving so I feel gutted about it. Cheers

Three years. And will be taken into consideration by an insurance company for FIVE years.

For totting up purposes it will last for three years and remail on your licence for four years.
