a lot of ignorant scientist types are now claiming that we use all of our brain which is causing great discomfort in my head.
Firstly if I say I only use 10% of my brain is correct. I consciously controls parts of my body which is probably 10 % of the functions happening within the body. I personally dont use the other parts of my brain for breathing that is done automatically.

If I used all of my brain I could control cell replication having eternal life. The limitations are rather out stretched.

To be honest like anything there must be a way to hack into parts of the brains that cant be controlled.

So what could we achieve when we hack the brain?

Eternal life and....

Them's the ones -- so annoying, but in retrospect also somewhat necessary. I do think it would be nice if they were acknowledged as "lies", or, rather, simplifications at the time, though.
It depends Jim....when its little children then they wouldn't "get it" and with older people saying "this isn't actually true but its what we are going to tell you now" probably wouldn't go down too well.
I like the concept of a frame of reference where you can say quite honestly "For the purposes of what we are going to study now, we are going to agree on xxx principles, xxx observed facts" and so on.

Ah Terry he is such a sweetie pie.

It does depend on how you present it, I guess. A certain patronising "you're not in a position to understand the full picture", while accurate, might not be much better either. On the other hand, this deceit that was perpetrated when I was at school that you can study A-Level Science without needing to study maths alongside is just awful; while not at least acknowledging that more is to come seems a bit off too.

Although in the long run it didn't matter too much, as I know do particle physics exclusively, I remember my first taste of it at school. I was looking forward immensely to the idea. What could be more fun than learning about the building blocks of everything we know in the Universe? But in the end it was essentially learning six names of quark, shoving "anti-" in front of just about everything, and repeating ad nauseam that "strangeness is conserved except in weak interactions", while at the same time providing precisely no understanding of, well, anything. This picture essentially continued until the third/ fourth years of University, which I suppose explains just how much groundwork is needed before you can actually do particle physics properly. All the same, there must be a way to do it better. Since I can well imagine ending up as a teacher, I suppose I will have to think about how to do it better myself.

So do you now claim to understand it or sim remember the laws very well. I am fascinated by protein folding and ready many a thesis but really confident the authors still have no idea how it works.
Well, at any rate I understand particle physics infinitely better than I did ten years ago, having just had an A-level education on the subject.
I'm not sure at the percentage but i believe we are limited to our brain power and our abilities but this can be amplified with knowledge and the search for the truth which expands our brain power. We're all subject to control but believe that we can break through our limitations by a constructed attempt to seek the truth, a "Loophole" if you will but a loophole that has purposefully been put there for those that don't believe the rubbish we've been force fed.

Like a maze with many goodies in certain nooks many are happy to stay there supposedly reaping the benefits of the fruits of their labour so are happy to remain there instead of finding the way out.
It's a rat trap baby, and we've been caught.

Our brains power can be optimised due to knowledge which takes a great deal of research and deciphering the many clues in life available. Again i bring you to the freemasons, illuminati and the many other unknown groups which many of us will never become privy to due the the secrecy who have achieved and harnessed this state of mind who have achieved this "Gift" through knowledge passed down through the gifted circles only they are part of.

My belief is that some of the most powerful and richest people on the planet have achieved more control of their minds. This information is unavailable to the the "normal" amongst us as like i said it's secrecy, power and control and we cant have an infrastructure where everyone is in the same level. There is a hierarchy for a reason. look at ants, bees etc.. This information has been given to us to teach us that there has t be kings and queens, protectors and then the humble workers.

What if we wasn't subject to this system? No rich, no poor, everyone equal and sharing on the same status level? It can happen but as i said it's a control manouvre by the powerful who know something we don't.
