Why do the BBC think anyone is interested in what that scruffy prat Mark Lawrenson has to say.

I know next to nothing about football, but I do know when someone sounds as though they know what they are talking about, so when I have watched MOTD, I have always enjoyed Alan Hansen, and wondered what Alan Shearer was doing there?
Since Mr Hansen has retired, AS has come on in leaps and bounds, the hesitation and woffle has gone, he is .intelligent and knowledgeable in equal amounts.
As for Mr Lawrenson, I have never really warmed to him, he is to 'Eeyore for me by far.
