We are going on a walking holiday next week to Calver, Derbyshire, staying in Cliff College. Can anyone who lives in the area, or knows it well, tell me please if there is a hairdresser's in the village, preferably within walking distance of said college. Thank you so much.

the nearest beauty salon is in Baslow http://www.thestage-salon.co.uk/

it's a mile and a half from the college - no distance for regular walkers but probably not so if tyou want to look your best when you get back to the college.

Thanks for that, mushroom. It looks like I'll have to pack the hairdryer then! Was hoping to avoid that.
