I bought a couple of these highly spiced/marinated sirloin steaks recently and found they they were much hotter than expected.
Other than washing or scraping the marinade off, is there any way I can wimpify the steaks down to a more agreeable level, so it don't blow the roof of my skull off ?.
I've had plenty of Cajun food before, but it don't taste as hot as the Creole style cuisine, is this the general rule ?
