Has anyone had an operation for this? How long was your recovery time?

Back at work in 2 weeks but still having physio. Back to almost full working order took about 6 weeks but it depends upon how much cartilage is left.

cathyhuns is nearly right, the recovery time should be two weeks, I had operation eight weeks ago, at present, my knee is swollen to twice the size it should be, and I can't bend it without a lot of pain, i've had to get a referral back to the consultont, and because i'm in a safety related job, they don't want me in, and its on the line now.

Sorry for for the scare story, but that whats happened to me, but I must stress, its a rare occurrance.
