Asylum Seekers
8 Answers
So after reading how david Cameron is planning to accept more asylum seekers in the UK after the recent tragedies.........I can't help but wonder how vulnerable this makes the country to more terrorist attacks? I am very very naive on this topic so I don't know the ins and outs to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I am all for the country doing its bit to help those in greater need, but what concerns me is how easily will these people be let in, and will they be monitored? is it not an easy way for terorist groups to pose as asylum seekers and gain entry into the UK and elsewhere? Or is it not as simple as that?

The vast majority of asylum seekers are looking for a decent life and have abandoned their homeland. Quite a few would make contributory UK members of Society. There will however be a certain amount of bludgers among them who will give the rest a bad name. The ease of terrorists slipping in this way is also a very real threat.
Monitoring them may be one way of minimising undesirables, but them you'd have the *** bleeding heart brigade yelling discrimination.

If we hadn't already allowed other immigrants with less need to be here the Syrians may well have had a better welcome. The sheer mass of immigrants makes it difficult now to prioritise. How do they filter out the bad ones, murderers rapists etc. considering the threat of terrorism plus the thought of Ebola and other diseases being brought in to our country from that part of the world it seems to be forgotton. I honestly feel all 'immigrated out' seen enough, heard enough. It isn't of our making. All those young men making their way across Europe should be helping to rebuild their cities instead of looking for an easier life. The Saudis haven't taken any Syrian refugees, because they support ISIS, not sure what Russia and other countries are doing but Europe is bearing the brunt of it. The millionaire guy who wants to buy an island to house them all has the right idea.

It is already very apparent that non genuine immigrants are sliding into the middle of the swarm. That is why there is a healthy trade for black market Syrian passports.
Of course IS can take themselves almost any where in Europe whilst the wringing hand brigade say ,"come one, come all" Without proper checks we do ourselves a great disservice and shame on Cameron for capitulating to the bleedin heart fools.
