is there a way of viewing pictures electronically on a "viewer" s i dont have to print them?

speeding up my pc

i have a packard bell amd sempron 3000+ processor 1.81ghz and 448mb ram. computer is running bit slow so id like to speed it up, will adding extra ram help? or is my processor just too slow?
