Any advice on how to relax at the dentists?

Have to go soon with first to the hygienist /sadist and then to the dentist, any ideas on how to relax and how to distract your mind from all that is going on in your mouth! I think I have a low pain...

I'v done something to My shoulder, not sure what but the pain is a 10 on the pain scale. I'v had Arthritis in My neck and shoulders since I was a Teenager so I knew to rest it and up the painkillers....
