does anyone know how long recording on town centre cctv cameras are kept for. my son was involved in a fighting incident at the end of december. would it still be on the database, i was told they only keep them for on for 30 days only. is this true...

the police have just been notified this week, about a fight in town that happened at the end of december. just worried in case it is found. thanks if anyone can help.....
