Neck pain

I have had a stiff and sore neck for about a month now tried deep heat & massage but still as bad and now my shoulder is starting to hurt now as well. tried 1 pillow, 2 pillows and no pillows...

Do any ladies out there have any opinions on the hormone implant (NOT NORPLANT as this has been discontinued) that is currently available? I definitely don't want to go on the pill as I had weight...
