Sky+ Copying to PC

Can I copy data from my Sky+ HDD to my PC? Reason I ask is, if I've recorded a program using Sky+, I can copy this to a video or a DVD recorder. But, this uses the scart conections. I don't have a DVD...

Im trying to reinstall this onto firefox as everything got deleted for no reason earlier but when i run the installer from my pc it simply goes on IE every time - how do i get around this please?
