Mac OS X - Safari

Why does Mac OS X have Safari rather than Internet Explorer?? A few things, like Yahoo Mail Beta are not compatible :-(

Wireless internet - security

We have set up wireless broadband at home. We have set it so you need a passwork to access it, & that only our MAC addresses can access it... is this enough?? If not, what else can we do?

iPhoto set to default for digital camera

On my Mac (OS X) I have somehow set iPhoto to open as the default program whenever I plug my digital camera in. I want to cancel this. Does anyone know how??

Wireless router

I'm gonna have wireless broadband in my house. We'll have a PC plus 2 or 3 laptops. What do I need to look for when buying a wireless router? There's too many to choose from!!!
