eating mould...what actual harm would it do?

what actual effect does it have on your body if you eat mould? i know stilton mould is ok, and some bread moulds cause hallucinations...but in general what would it do to you? thsanks...

i have come across a bag which has inside a lot of 1930s French Disney comics and books... however, they have got damp and now have mould on them...the mould just wipes off and leaves no real marks on...
