rented accommodtion

i live in a private rented house,which i am leaving soon.There was no contract signed and the landlord wants me to do things to the house that wasnt here when i arrived.What rights do i have?

sore joints

i suffer from sore joints,mostly at bedtime,i cant get a goodnights sleep.I take cod liver oil and glucosamine.any one know of any other i can take?Also how to get a goodnights sleep?
