What time do you dine ?

What time do you folks have your main meal....is it at lunch time (12pm - 2pm) or later in the day. When i lived with my parents many moons ago, dinner was 5.30...as soon as everyone was in from work....

Does anyone remember a very short film on tv in about the late 1950's of a train journey and as you watched it you really thought you were on the train. It only lasted a few minutes.
