Flies living in the lawn.

Is there an easy way to get rid of the hundreds of flies which are living in our lawn here in Namibia. We would like to sit out in our new garden, but the flies drive us crazy!!

Electric Central Heating

There is an ad in my local paper for a 'new' form of central heating boiler and systom which they claim runs on economy 7 and is cheaper than storage heating. Does any one know of this?

Basically can old storage heaters be repaired? I have two in my new home both of which are sometimes very hot and at others barely warm. The boost and input control nobs are either worn out or stuck...

Gas central heating - what could it be?

My central heating is not working - although it is still heating the hot water, the boiler is not firing up for the radiators - could it be the thermostat?
