Why does my hair feel thin after a night out?!

A girlfriend and I were having a conversation the other day about rubbish hair and both of us have noticed that when waking up after a night out our hair feels really thin and lank! Any ideas why this...

I have internet problems so it could be that but i can view every other website but when i go to go to facebook.com a page comes up saying it cannot be found. Anyone else having this problem?
