SDHC card

I bought an SDHC card a while ago. It worked for a bit but my phone didn't like it (was using it in a Memory Stick adaptor) and ended up getting corrupted when I pulled it out as it was being written...

I have tried to log off my lap top - using vista- and it seems to be frozen on the logging off page. It will not allow any other commands such as ctl alt del. can anyone help?
