Freaky Radio waves???

Can anyone tell me why my tv would turn off on its own and why my radio will change stations.  I don't want to go down the spirit world path.  I want a logical answer please

Crested Newts

We have discovered that we have Crested Newts in our pond, I understand that these are endanged, is there anything we should do? We live in central London and they live in our pond.
